| In business since 1948, AETNA Plating was founded by Louis C. Sobey Sr.; well known for his integrity in character, and quality workmanship and service. Passed on to his son, Peter Sobey, in 1975, AETNA continued in the traditions of its founder and strived to produce the highest quality workmanship and service possible to its customers. Since 1973 a near 14-fold increase in business occured with one of AETNA's best sources of reference for new customers being other plating companies! As our reputation for high quality plating and tackling difficult jobs was recognized. In March of 1997, our Union Avenue facility was regrettably destroyed by fire. Even more regrettable was our lengthy delay in service to our loyal and valued customers; to which we offer our humble apologies. But our new and larger location is near completion, equipped with state of the art technoloy, skilled personnel, and prepared to once again provide the best plating service available, anywhere. |
